Note Card Holder Purse

Good Afternoon Ladies, today on SCS the limited supply challenge LSC217, was to make a card that had the colors of one of your rooms in your house. Well of course I picked my stamping room :)... I know this was a LSC so I tried to keep this as simple as I could, exspecially my note card. I bought these little chipboard purses at Michaels. I knew I could use them for something, what woman doesn't love their purses!!! So after a little of thought, I thought a little note holder would be perfect!!!

Here is the recipe Ladies

- Chipboard Purse from Michaels... It was only 1.00 even better, you can make two of these with one purse..

- Primas

- Bag of Buttons, White and Blue

- SU Twine

- Butterfly background stamp Inkadinkado

- Ribbon

- Kraft Cardstock

- Bashful Blue Cardstock

- Whisper White Cardstock

- CB With Love Folder

- Marvey Scallop Circle Punch

- Circle Punch

I first detached the chipboard book, covered both sides with Kraft Paper. Stamped my image in Ballet Blue, shows up darker than bashful blue. I attached the two chipboard purses together with a base at the bottom with Bashful blue cardstock and spray adhesive. I attached the ribbons to the top to have it stand completely up. I then added primas, buttons, and twine.

The little note cards were simple, The card base is bashful blue, ran a piece of kraft through the cb and then attached. I punched a scallop and circle, attached, and added a button... Really easy...The cards slip right in the purse!!! Here's a picture of that!!

I am going to make another one way more fancy, I wanted to do this one for my room, for the limited supply challenge, so I tried not to over do it!!! Hope you like it ladies!! This was a really fun project and a simple one to make....

I am really glad its Friday, tomorrow is the big convention. I am soooo excited!! Can't wait to get some new goodies, everytime I go though I think Inky Antics and Stamps by Judith take all of my money...HA!!! I hope you guys have a wonderful day... Thanks for visting my blog!

Welcome Spring

Today was the featured stamper challenge on Splitcoast Stampers, FS115. Jaymerz was the featured stamper today...wow does she ever have a gorgeous gallery.. Took me a while to decide what card I wanted to case. I chose her zoofari card. I just loved this layout so much...Wow!! I changed everything except the layout. I used Certainly Celery paper as the base. I then, used Baja Breeze for the next layer ran it through the cuttlebug and used my corner punch. I used Barely Banana next and layered Green Tea SU Dp on top and then did the corners. I added ribbon in a criss cross, used another smaller piece of ribbon to tie in the center and added a clip. I punched of course again..HAHA...Martha Stewart butterfly punch in all three colors added perfect pearls and attached them to my card. I stamped in Baja Breeze my setiment from Cornage Heritage Farms. Hope you like this and are not tired of my butterflies yet...Happy Spring Everyone.

SFYTT - Sweet Stems

I think I have this blog thing finally down, this will be my last post of the day!!! This was a sketch challenge on http://iheart2stamp.com/ she always has great sketches every week. I was anxious to use this rasberry tart paper from SU. So I decided to go with the colors of this dp. I layered whisper white on top of the red riding hood then layered regal rose. I then stamped in regal rose the sweet stems. Next, I cut the dp for the bottom half of the card. Next, I cut a white and red riding hood for the next layer and added bling to the corners and pierced around the white. I added regal rose ribbon. I used my blender pen and dipped it in the ink to color my images ( since SU doesn't have markers for the in colors) boo hoo..they really need those btw..!!! I then stamped added stickles and punched out with my oval punch. I punched out two scallop ovals and placed the image on the card!!! I really had a blast doing this one!! Both my kids were at friends tonight and my hubby made me steak...yummy...so we ate outside since it was finally beautiful in this cold state!!! Then I got a chance to sit and make this card!!! Thanks for dropping by!

More Butterflies

More Butterflies!! Who would of guessed!!! This was a color challenge on splitcoast stampers, CC214. It was Bordering Blue, So Saffron, Pink Pirouette, and Chocolate Chip was Opitional. I saw this fantastic layout in last month's card magazine. Of course, I used the layout and changed it up a little. Added a few things and did it a little different, with obviously different colors. I used the SU Scallop punch to for the top and bottom panel. I layered the chocolate chip with bordering blue and added my pink scallop edges. I then added so saffron ribbon. I punched a 3 circles then punched again with a smaller circle to get the outline. I used my xyon sticker machine to stick them on. I then punched the Martha Stewart Butterflies, and SU flowers in different sizes. I added rhinestones to the flowers and Perfect pearls to the butterflies. I then attached them in different ways. I then found a rubon setiment, rubbed it on and done!!! I really enjoyed this sketch and loved the way it turned out. I will use this again in the future!!!

Butterflies, Butterflies, Butterflies

Butterflies, I have been obsessed with them lately. I have made so many cards using this Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch. This was a ways to use it challenge, WT214 Frame It, on splitcoaststampers.com. I had these cool frames from thickers so decided to start with that. I also am totally in love with this pacific blue color from Stampin up..So I decided to go Pacific Blue, Basic Black, and Whisper White. I layered my blue cardstock with whisper white and Basic Black. I paper pierced around the black. Tied SU Ribbon and added stick pins, cut the bottoms off of course, we don't want accidents...ha!! Then I glued the blue paper behind the frame. Punched the butterflies and added perfect pearls..love that stuff it dries so much faster than stickles...!!! Then I stamped the setiment in Basic Black cut and inked the edges..Popped dotted it on and done!! I really love how this one turned out. It is almost the same color I have on my one wall in my craft room..So I put it up for decoration!!! Thanks for taking a peek!!

Elephant Birthday

Well this was a FUN card to make...My friend Anne Ryan sent me this adorable image!! OMG isn't he just the cutest!!! As soon as I received this guy I knew he was going to be a "Birthday Elephant". I found this cute hat in my many scrapbooking stickers and thats where I got the inspiration for these colors... I used Guavy Guava paper and layered it with Barely Banana. I then cut the su dp and used the scallop punch for the edge. I then added rhinestone pearls. I stamped the setiment and attached it. Added some SU ribbon and then colored this cute guy with copics!! Put him on the card and done!! I am not too sure who made this sticker hat, but I need some more...ha!! Oh yeah forgot to mention this was a sketch challenge from this website http://prairiepaperandink.typepad.com/amyr/ thanks Amy for the great sketch!!!
