Good Evening Everyone, WOW its Thursday already!!! Days just seem to fly by...... is it because I am getting older??? LOL!! My daughter has a soccer tournament all weekend this weekend...We are spending the weekend in Columbus Ohio... so I am hoping to get one more post in before we head out. If not this will be my last one until Tuesday...



I wanted to share a NEW digital freebie being offered at Whimsy Stamps. Crissy Armstrong created this sassy froggy in honor of our DT member Lisa's sister Jayme, who sadly was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Lisa has a special RAK request posted on her blog now with a great prize up for grabs. If you're a card maker and want to brighten someones day, please make a card and send it off to Jayme!

Good Morning Everyone, Happy Wednesday....Wow the week is halfway over and its almost time for a 3 day weekend...WOOHOO!!! Before I show you my creation today I wanted to let you know some fun Inky Impressions News.... Over at our yahoo group we are now having monthly challenges with a fabulous prize. Our first challenge is one lucky participant will receive a gift certificate to the Inky store and the prize for the second challenge is you could have your card/creation on our yahoo group home page. Here is all the info this month if you want to come play along......

#1. Every month we will be having a Home Page contest with a monthly theme. This month our theme will be FLOWERS. The winner will have their card displayed for the whole month of June to greet our members every time they sign on to the group. You have till the end of May to enter this contest. #2. There is also another challenge during each month that will follow a theme. Good Morning Everyone, Happy Wednesday!!! Its time for another fun Inky Impressions Challenge!!! This weeks challenge is a FUN one!!

Since it is May, many of us are thinking FLOWERS. Rather than challenge you to just using flowers, we would like you to choose two or more from our recipe of sorts using the letters in flowers. For example:

Choose at least two letters from:

F: flowers or faux (faux stitching, faux suede, faux leather...)
L: Lace or lacing
O: circles or circle embellishments (brads, pearls, etc)
W: Water coloring, Wax Paper Resist
E: embossing or easel
R: Ripping, Distressing, tearing or ribbon
S: stitching (real or Faux) or sparkle


Sound like fun?????, I had a blast with this challenge. For my creation today I chose........

I used the darling image Prayer LiLi , She is such a CUTIE!!! I wanted to try something different and make a card either for sympathy or just a general praying for you card. I used this beautiful cross and sentiment to go along with sweet LiLi. Hope you enjoy my creation today!!!

I just LOVE these carousel horses. This one is JUST perfect for those 4th of July cards. My next creation I made is using the fabulous NEW SET Party Pony!!! This set is just AWESOME for those bday cards or even for any celebration!!!! I made this cute little set using the sentiment from Party Pony and the NEW ticket sentiment set created by Rain Drop Echo Designs. I also created this adorable little box..... these are just perfect for a cute little gift or a party favor!!! Enjoy!!!

Good Morning Everyone, WOW its Thursday already, this week has just flown by.......I wanted to share a card with you that I made with this cute NEW image by Inky Impressions Water LiLi. Oh my goodness I just love this cutie and she was soooo fun to color and to paper piece!!! She makes a perfect summer creation!!! Its so funny because that old old song about the polka dotted bikini gave me inspiration to make this card in polka dots and yellow....LOL!!! Whatever it takes for inspiration right????

Happy Mother's Day!

Good Afternoon Everyone, Happy Sunday!!! I wanted to wish every Mom out there a Happy Mother's Day!!! I hope you guys are enjoying your day!!! My kiddos are wonderful, I got Breakfast in Bed, Coffee, flowers, and many things all three of them created. A Pot of Flowers and card from my youngest, a card and a stone they decorated from my oldest children!! They are soooo special and have treated wonderfully today!!! I have to say my husband was exceptional too they got me a sewing machine!!! A really nice Singer!!! I was soooo excited!! WOOT WOOT!!! He has known I wanted one so I can try to sew on my projects...So hopefully my next creation will have some sewing on it!!! LOL!!! It came with a DVD to teach this lady how to sew...bahhaaa this should be fun!!!!


I did get around to make a card today, for my Mother in Law, from the children!!! I thought this new digi by Whimsy Stamps, Riding Hood in the Meljen's Collection was perfect. I also used this GREAT Whimsy sentiment created by RainDrop Echo Designs in the Digi Collection. When I was at convention a few weeks ago I found this AWESOME Tim Holtz Flower Die. I used that along with prima flowers to create a flower for my ribbon!!! Hope you enjoy my creation today!!!

A Gift for a Friend!

Good Morning Everyone, Happy Saturday!!! I wanted to share a little something I have been working on. When I went to Virginia a few weeks ago, my friends mom went CRAZY over my cards. She called one of her friends and they picked out a bunch of cards and made me take money...LOL!!! She had asked me that she would LOVE a set of note cards. If I ever had the chance she would love a set. She didn't tell me exactly what she wanted so I took it upon myself to think of something she LOVES. She loves her doggie Toby a sweet little pug.....When I was at the stamping convention last week I went on a hunt to find a pug image. Guess what I found it...WOOHOO!!!! So here is the set of note cards I came up with for her. I hope she loves them!!!

I wanted to keep them simple for her, so it would be easy to mail. They also have matching Kraft envies and I stamped a cute little paw print on the inside!!!! Hope you enjoy and have my fingers crossed she will LOVE them!! Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!!!!
