Whimsy New Release Showcase Day # 5

Good Morning Everyone, Happy Monday!!! I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL weekend!!! Today is Whimsy Stamps New Release Showcase Day #5 and I wanted to share a creation with you that I made using one of Ann's Fabulous Sentiment Sets, Sympathy Notables 3. I always find it very difficult to make a sympathy cards but with this set I had no problems :) Hope you enjoy my creation!!!

I wanted to try something different with this set :) As you can see, I decided to make a 3D Flower using one of the sentiments in the AWESOME NEW Set Sympathy Notables... I stamped the sentiment several times, cut them out, and arranged the first layer, and used pop dots for the second layer...Then I added a button to the center to complete my flower... Flowers always seem to be very appropriate for sympathy cards....

Good Morning Everyone, Happy Monday!!! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, and if you are off today because of the holiday here in the US hope you are enjoying your day off. I had some stamping time over the weekend and I decided to make a card using the current My Favorite Things Sketch.... I have so many of these cuties, and decided I wanted to play along again this week!!!!

Here is the sketch we were to follow

And here is the card I came up with, I decided to do this cutie in USA Soccer Colors...Hope you enjoy!!!

Isn't she fun???? Soccer is huge here at my house, so when I saw this cutie I just had to have her....This weeks sketch was a perfect chance to colored her up :)) I saw the flag on the sketch and knew she would be perfect!!!

I decided to make my own flag out of a rubber soccer sticker I had, a piece of a paintbrush, and I hot glued a little chalk ball on the top..Tada I made a flag LOL!!!

For my creation today, I decided to use one of my all time favorite Bo Bunny Paper Packs Gabrielle , I just love these colors and the butterfly design just went so perfect with this sweet image. Also to make her sparkle I used some of my Stickles :) Those dots on the all white butterfly and the butterfly centers are liquid pearls...Have you tried these???? They are fabulous and an easier, less expensive way to add pearls to your cards :)

Good Morning Everyone, Happy Wednesday, WOW its the middle of the week already, this week has just flown by!!! Today I would like to share a creation with you that I made using this sweetest Elisabeth Bell for SCACD Blowing Kisses...Oh my word I just knew this cutie would make a wonderful Valentine card :) Hope you enjoy my creation today!!!

Isn't she just as cute as can be??? EEEK I just LOVE this sweet image and perfect for those Valentines :) Right now this image is 25% off, come check it out while supplies last HERE!!!

For this creation, I also used this BRAND NEW Paper by My Minds Eye Love Me...I just ADORE this whole pack of papers, just perfect for Valentine's Day!! I also used my Spellbinders to make this circle shaped card, and added some Versa Fine ink to the edges as well...I used a heart embossing folder for the background and a small heart punch to pop up some extra hearts :) Have you checked out the NEW Cuttlebug Embossing Folders,???? they have arrived at SCACD!!!

Good Morning Everyone, Happy Tuesday!!!! WOW its 2012 and today is my first post for the NEW Year!!! I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Christmas and had a blast celebrating the New Year!!! I have enjoyed my children being home for the holidays and sleeping in for the past two weeks, LOL!!! Now its back to reality and time for me to get stamping!!! :)))

Good Morning Everyone, Happy Thursday!!! I can't believe my last card I made was about 3 weeks ago. I wanted to say thanks for all the kindness of my blogging buddies checking on me, I have such great friends and followers...I just heart you all!!!! I did however have some personal issues going on that I was unable to create, but I am ready and happy to get back to stamping :)

For my creation today I used this absolutely ADORABLE new image Sharing is Best by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD!!! I just had to make her a holiday creation, it just reminds me of me when I was little and trying to eat up all the cookies we were making for of Santa on Christmas Eve.....Hope you enjoy my creation!!

Isn't he just toooo fun??? For this creation I used the fun Halloween Frog HoneyPop Clear Set 11051MC and the Black Honey Comb Paper!!! I think I am going to make a few of these and send them out, I just ADORE Froggies!!!! For both of my creations today for my color medium I used Gamsol and Prisma Color Pencils...I always enjoy using my pencils!!! For this creation today, I used this ADORABLE new Holiday Peeker Festive Welcome Peeker, isn't she just TOOO SWEET??? I decided to paper piece her hat and color her up to match these fabulous Holiday Papers from Echo Park Seasons Greetings :) EEEK I love these fun papers!!!

For this creation today, I also used all ribbons available at Really Reasonable Ribbon!!! I used the gorgeous white double ruffled ribbon, 5/8 inch Satin Moss, and some yummy twine!!!

The only thing I did different on the sketch is add this bow :) I also paper pieced this cutie and colored her up with copics.....I also played with a new setting on my sewing machine for the border of the card, I really like that sewing design :)

Good Morning Everyone, Happy Sunday!!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT weekend :) It has been a GORGEOUS weekend here in NE Ohio. I wish these temps could stick around for sure!!!

Today I would like to share with you a creation I made with this NEW adorable Elisabeth Bell Holiday Peeker Pumpkin Patch Peeker. I just love this cutie :) Hope you enjoy my creation today!!

Can you tell my inspiration was pumpkins?? LOL!! Pumpkins, Pumpkins everywhere!! For this creation I wish you could see it a bit better in this picture, I used a cuttlebug embossing folder and I chalked my embossing with glitter chalk. Green and orange to match my papers :) I used thsi totally adorable pumpkin charm (give to me by a friend) . I really enjoyed making this creation!!

I also could resist adding some darling pearls to her shoes :) The ribbon I used is seam binding from Really Reasonable Ribbon and some sweet stick pins I found in my stash :)

Good Morning Everyone, Happy Wednesday!! Today its time for another fun Your Next Stamp Challenge!! This weeks challenge is a fun one, to make a creation inspired by a song!!! How fun is this??? I was inspired today by this song by the Eagles...Hope you enjoy!!

Here is what I came up with!!!

I had so much fun with this challenge...I thought this image Cute Witch Ellie and Her Kitty worked perfect with this song :) I just adore this image, and I LOVE Halloween cards!!! I really love this time of year for card making!!!

Also for my creation, I used this fabulous NEW My Mind's Eye Designer Paper Mischievous OOO I just LOVE these colors in this pack, and these designs are GREAT!!!!

Inky Antics Stamping Spaces Blog Hop!!

Good Morning everyone Happy Tuesday!!! Wow I feel like I haven't blogged in forever....I had a wonderful time in Florida and really enjoyed some family time and some really needed R&R.... Kids are heading back to school today, I can't believe how fast summer has gone :( but I should be back to my old blogging self again :) I miss all my crafty friends and can't wait to peek and see what everyone has been up to!!!

Today is the Inky Antics Stamping Spaces Blog Hop....Doesn't this sound fun?? Jackie thought it would be a fun idea to hop around and take a peek at every one's stamping spaces :) So if you have arrived here from Jovi's Blog you are in the right place if not stop by the Inky Antic's Blog so you don't miss anything along the way!!!

Today I would like to share with you my stamping space, where I spend A LOT of my time LOL!!! The first picture I am sharing with you is just a side view of my computer desk and just a glimpse of my heaven :) Hope you enjoy!!!

I would like to apologize for my picture quality, my poor camera is due for a service it hasn't been focusing like it should at all :(

My next pictures I would like to share with you is my closet. I use this fabulous storage solution I found at Target.. The baskets inside my closet hold all of my ribbons, they are all sorted by color family....Attached to the door of the closet I hung a hanging shoe storage for all of my punches...Also if you peek right below my photo boxes, I hung curtain rods and used my tins for extra storage for small goodies :)

My next photo is where I like to stamp and color :)

A storage solution I found to work for me, if you see the notebooks, that is where I store a lot of my unmounted stamps on clear sheets :) I also label them with company name or by theme so I can just grab one :)

My next set of photos is where I store most of my card stock, some of my flowers, and some misc stuff like my cards magazines :)

Here is my 6x6, 8x8 paper storage and envelopes....This was a great find for me, a guy was giving this away and he use to store garage tools in this :))) I asked him for it then I painted it up and I now have a great paper storage solution...:)

I have one more set of photos to share, it is my work station. This is where I sew, use my die cuts, do my cutting, scoring etc.....Also I took a few pictures of my up above storage cabinets..Hope you enjoy!!!

If you look hard enough in this photo above you can see my kitty in my light box...LMBO!!!!

On the right hand side you will see some white shelves that my hubby is supposed to hang where all that empty space is above my sewing machine...just still waiting for him LOL!!

Good Morning Everyone, Happy Wednesday!! WOW I feel like I have been away forever.....I really had a wonderful time in Virginia with my family!!!! I have to be a bit honest, it has been so hard to keep up with everything during the summer months while the kids are home and want to be entertained...I want my family to have a great summer, so if I am slacking in the comment area I apologize..Once Fall hits, I should be back to my blogging and cardmaking self..LOL!!!

Today its time for another fun Your Next Stamp Challenge. This weeks challenge is a Recipe: 3 embellishments, two designer papers, and one image!!! Today I would like to share my challenge card with you that I made with this ADORABLE NEW Your Next Stamp image Kai from Hawaii, this is such a super fun image!! Hope you enjoy my creation today!!!

For my creation today I used this super fun designer paper KaiserCraft Seaside....I thought this worked awesome with this image :) I had a lot of fun making this summer creation using the 3-2-1 challenge!!!

As always.....we’d love to see you use a YNS stamp on your challenge card/creation, but if you don’t have one, then you can still join in and be entered into the prize draw (but please only enter one non-YNS creation per challenge). Good Morning Everyone, Happy Friday!!! WOOHOO today is a very exciting day at SCACD!!!! Susana is having a Just Because moment and releasing FOUR fabulous images today!!! 2 amazing Perfume Bottles designed by Victoria Case and 2 Flower Children designed by Elisabeth Bell these just could not wait to be shown! How exciting is THIS??? You will not want to miss these beauties!!!

Today I am going to share with you three creations using these FABULOUS new images!! For my first creation I used this ADORABLE image Hydrangea Hugs by Elisabeth Bell For SCACD!!! Hope you enjoy my creation!!!

Oh my goodness isn't this image soooo precious???? I just fell in love with her!!! For my card today I decided to use this GORGEOUS Designer Paper from Memory Box Minuet. I just LOVE this color combo!!!

For my next creation I would like to share with you one of the GORGEOUS perfume bottles named Flora Perfume Bottle by Victoria Case for SCACD and its also available TODAY!!!! Hope you enjoy!!!!

Isn't this bottle just sooo BEAUTIFUL!!! For my creation today, I wanted to try something different, I stamped this image on Vellum and paper pieced the back :) Something very different for me but I really like the effect it gave this stunning new image :) I also used this gorgeous paper pack by Prima Sweet Fairy!! I just LOVE the floral designs in this pack!!!

For my last creation I used another Flower Child, This cuties name is Daisy Doll...OH my word she is soooo sweet, I hope you enjoy!!!

AAACCK isn't she just the SWEETEST!!!! I LOVE this designer paper My Minds Eye, Stella Rose, Gertle Paper Pack!!! I thought these colors worked awesome with this sweet little darling!!!! I also used my square nesties, along with some dress it up buttons :)))

Isn't she just SOOO adorable, I JUST LOVE this whole new Collection Sweet Meets Sassy Collection #2 these images are just tooo cute for words!!! For my creation today, I decided to add a cute little sparkler to her hand using a stick pin, a snowflake punch, and lots of stickles :))) I also used this FABULOUS Bo Bunny Paper Liberty available at SCACD!!!

Today its time for another fun Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge. This weeks challenge is a summer or picnic theme using of course some ribbon/lace or trims. For my creation today, I decided to make a fun summer vacation journal using lots of Really Reasonable Ribbons. Hope you enjoy my creation today!!!

I thought this would be such a great gift for someone going on vacation, so they could jot down some stuff and maybe even add a few photos to it. For this creation I used Various Satin colors of Really Reasonable Ribbon, and this AWESOME designer paper from Imaginisce!!! I used these fun flip flops cut by the cricut and I added some fun brads to dress them up!!!!

Inky Antics CC Binding System Blog Hop

Good Morning Everyone, Happy Thursday!!!! Welcome to the Inky Antics Blog Hop!!! If you have arrived from Jovi's Blog you are in the right place if not you might want to start back at the beginning at Keri's Blog so you don't miss anything along the way!! This Blog Hop starts today and ends on July 3rd Midnight Central Time.....

Today the Inky Antics Designers are showcasing this FABULOUS Carla Craft Binding System!!!

A little bit of info about this FAB product:

WOOHOO a spiral coil binding system that is portable, inexpensive, and super easy to operate!!!! OOOO I love this thing :)))) You will just LOVE the pretty colors available for the coils!!!! I just had to have every color teehee :)))

The Carla Craft Binding System will punch up to five sheets of copy paper or two sheets of cardstock at a time, It will also punch through lightweight chipboard so you can have sturdy covers or make a fun project...You can make any size booklet or project up to 12 inches long......

I had a blast working with this awesome binding system....Today I would like to share a fun calendar I made for my desk using this fab product, Hope you enjoy!!!

I had a blast making this, I used my one of my FAVORITE paper pads by My Mind's Eye Lime Twist and I couldn't forget to add one of my favorite animals on my calendar as well, this darling Monkey image from Inky Antics.

For my creation, I started with a 6x12 piece of chipboard and scored it at 5, 6, and 7 to make my calendar base. I used the Carla Binding System to punch the chipboard and all this fun designer papers. I used my su scallop border punch to give each month a border. I printed a yearly calendar by month and dress them all up with My Minds Eye matching twine and a matching butterfly using my Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch. I then used my Viva Decor Pearl Pen to make dots on each of my butterfly centers :)

This was just so much fun and now I have a calendar on my desk with my FAV colors!!!!

I created this tag using this beautiful RRR double ruffled ribbon and also using Really Reasonable Ribbon's fabulous White Satin!!! Attached to the ribbon I also used this twine to tie a bow!!! I hand wrote Happy 4th with those fun Sakura Gelly Roll Pens :))) I had a wonderful time making this creation and thought this would be perfect to attach to a fun gift for the 4th of July!! :)) We always go to some party and I always make something fun for the host :)))

For this creation today along with Alice Chains, I used Ann's Fabulous Background stamp Street Art. This background image works AWESOME for all the Kenny K stamps :))) For my paper I used the new Bo Bunny Line Zoology :) All these animal prints are such a blast to work with!!! To finish my creation off I used a variety of Prima flowers and a silver doilie!!!

I also wanted to share with you my Kenny K Peek creation I did earlier in the week for those who didn't get a chance to see it...For this creation I used the Fabulous Showgirl!!! Hope you enjoy!

Today I would like to share my creation with you that I made with this month's Fabulous Really Reasonable Ribbon June Assortment....

Also for my creation I used this terrific Flower Soft around all my letters, OOOO I just LOVE the texture it gave my project!!!! I used this AWESOME Soft Diamond Range Polar White, and this FANTASTIC Ultra Fine Strawberry!!!

I decided to make something very Patriotic a USA Banner.... Hope you enjoy my creation today!!!!

Please feel free to click on any pictures for a larger better view :) I had a blast making this creation and can't wait to hang it on the Fourth of July :)) I used the awesome Spellbinder Pennant Dies and the ribbon on top of each is from the RRR Monthly Assortment. I used Really Reasonable Ribbon Seam Binding to attach it all together...I also used chipboard letters and added the fun Flower soft around them for more of a texture....I used the new Tim Holtz Paper Rosette Die and varies 4th of July Stickers and a red bottle cap. I also used Tim Holtz Ink to distress all the edges of this fun Misc Fourth of July Paper I found in my stash :)))

I decided to make an altered chipboard tag, this was soooo much fun to make and I adore this image, what a fun chick LOL!!!! This release is FABULOUS you won't want to miss the hop on June 15th and there will be lots of prizes to win WOOT!!!!! I also used this terrific Really Reasonable Ribbon Satin Ribbon, for the bottom and the top of my tag :)) this is by far one of my favorite ribbons...I just LOVE this stuff and comes in all kinds of colors and designs!!!!

Good Morning Everyone, Happy Wednesday!!!!! Wow it has been over a week since I have posted last :( I wanted to take a minute and apologize for being such a bad blogger, I had a horrible tooth infection which even effected my left cheek....UGH!!! I can't remember the last time I was in that much pain for soooo long...It took several days for the antibiotic to kick in and for me to start feeling better again :))))) I am soooooo happy I am feeling myself again, summer is here, kids are home, and lots of yard work...so mama can't be down and out LOL!! :)

Today I would like to share with you a creation I made for today's Your Next Stamp Challenge!!!! Today's challenge is a FUN one, To make any shaped card except a square!!! For my creation today I decided to make a fun circle card hope you enjoy!!!!

I decided to use this fun Your Next Stamp set Fhiona and Fhinn Hiking!!! I just adore this ADORABLE set and this fun sentiment!!! I also used October Afternoon Paper Pad Campfire :)

Good Morning Everyone, Happy Saturday, yippeeee its the weekend and a long one!!!!! Today is my first Saturday off from working for a while, so today I am gonna Chill.....:)))))

Today I would like to share a creation with you that I made with this BEAUTIFUL new image Sitting Pretty by Carmen for SCACD!!! I just adore this new image and thought she would be great in a Vintage style!! Hope you enjoy my creation today!!!!

For my creation I used this GORGEOUS Graphic 45 Paper, OOO these colors are just soooo beautiful!!!! I also used vintage photo distress ink on just about everything on my card :))))) I found a gold metal flower and these fun gold bling in my stash!!!

AWW I just LOVE this darling image Kite Flying Fhiona and the adorable matching sentiment!!! She is just soooo fun for those spring creations, I also used this FABULOUS designer paper by My Mind's Eye Fly a Kite :) I LOVE these new papers from My Mind's Eye the lime twist collection is AWESOME!!!

OMG LOL I just noticed a little piece of redline tape backing is on my card at the bottom, must of got there somehow off my messy desk hahahhah please ignore it, its not on my card now LOL!!!

For my first creation I used the beautiful paper Sweet Fairy by Prima, and for my second card I used Max and Whiskers from Basic Grey!!!

As you can see I decided to make a fun summer Coaster Gift Set!!! Each coaster is covered with acrylic so you can put your drinks on them.....These AWESOME images from this NEW YNS Release just reminded me of all the great things you can do in warm weather :)))) So I altered a plain cardboard set, covered with paper, distressed, added acrylic, some yummy Really Reasonable Ribbon Lace, I even made some fancy straws with Chloe paper and My new favorite Sizzix flower Die :))) The paper I used is all from the Chloe Collection made by 3 Bugs in a Rug :) I just LOVE this fun bright paper!!!!

Today is the last day of previews for the upcoming Carmen Medlin release at SCACD Stamps! If you missed the first preview, then check out my earlier post – Carmen Medlin for SCACD Stamps Preview Day #1 – The Travellers. You can also find details on the second, third and fourth previews in my posts this week.

You’ll want to make sure you comment on all of the designers’ preview posts this week, as Susana is giving away a fantastic prize which includes a FULL SET of the new Carmen Medlin stamps! The draw closes at 7pm California time on Thursday 19th May.

Isn't she FABULOUS??? I can just see using her for many things, Super Mom, Super Woman, we rock you know LOL!!!! I decided for my creation today, I would make a matching key chain!!! I really enjoyed making this set and hope you enjoyed!!!

There are so many fabulous images in this new release!!! I couldn't wait to ink up this cutie Birthday Cup Mouse!!!! Hope you enjoy my creation today!!!

AWWW isn't he as sweet as can be???? He looks a bit small in my photo that is because I decided to make a larger card a 5x7 so I could use these fabby spellbinder banner dies!! :) I also used these fantastic birthday sentiments available NOW at Whimsy Stamps in the Raindrop Echo Collection!!!! For my paper I used this great new My Mind's Eye Designer Paper...EEEK I am sooo in love with this new collection!!!
